HYBRID WORKING


Camascope operates with three "anchor" days in the office at Farringdon: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This role is expected to align with this working model.


REPORTS TO: Chief Product Officer


As a Product Owner at Camascope, you will manage a product vertical and work cross-functionally to bridge the technical and business worlds. In this impactful role, you will define and drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning them with the company’s overarching objectives and customer needs. You will closely collaborate with various stakeholders, including engineering, design, sales, training, and customer success teams, to deliver products that have the potential to change lives.


Strong technical and business acumen are essential to succeed in this highly integrated role. The ideal candidate will be an organised and innovative self-starter with experience managing tech products in startups and technology companies. This is a client-facing Product Owner role.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Product Ownership (60%)


  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s products.
  • Manage a product vertical to ensure high-quality, timely delivery.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries and issues.
  • Attend client-facing meetings, effectively communicating product interests.
  • Own and manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to implementation.
  • Identify gaps in the current product offering and propose enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with the customer success team to ensure client satisfaction and product alignment with client needs.
  • Keep internal stakeholders informed of product developments and updates.
  • Establish and manage product-related processes and documentation.
  • Conduct system demonstrations for client groups to showcase product features and capabilities.


Business Analysis (40%)


  • Collaborate with both internal teams and external client groups to gather, understand, and document requirements.
  • Translate business needs into actionable product features and improvements, and develop a roadmap.
  • Independently run product workshops and focus groups to align stakeholders and refine product visions.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure all requirements are met and expectations managed.
  • Analyse and document complex issues and requirements, create specification documentation, and coordinate with development teams.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to refine the roadmap and manage product development.
  • Design commercial, partnership, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Define KPIs and measure ongoing product success.
  • Align product development with business needs and company goals.


REQUIREMENTS


  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in healthcare technology.
  • A technical/programming background or experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of multiple functional areas, including Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance, and Marketing.
  • Experience with agile development, Confluence, and Jira is essential.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with highly developed interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong customer research, KPI analytics, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK to visit client locations.
