Due to their exceptional continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities and EHS Supervisor to join them in Oxfordshire. This is a brand-new position that has been created for the day to day running of site facilities and EHS, ensuring any maintenance and repairs are completed, compliantly, in a timely fashion.
To be successful as the new Facilities and EHS Supervisor, we are looking for an experienced Facilities leader who has proven experience in managing facilities in a highly regulated environment (IVD, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals). Experience in EHS is highly advantageous, though not essential for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the facilities team, ensuring that all tasks are completed to an exemplary standard.
- Ensure the business adheres to legal and internal Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and policies.
- Set the strategic direction for the facilities and EHS departments.
- Supervise the management of planned maintenance and EHS programmes, ensuring all relevant guidelines and regulations are met.
- Support and execute allocated reactive maintenance tasks.
To be successful:
- Possess an engineering degree or equivalent
- Proven experience in facilities management within a highly regulated environment
- Proven leadership experience
- Have experience in managing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- An IOSH or NEBOSH qualification is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects related to facilities and/or EHS.
