They are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Rail Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery of four critical bridge projects over rail, connecting a brand new site to a nearby station. This is a high-profile role involving extensive work with Transport for London (TfL) and London Underground, offering a massive scope for professional growth and development.


Key responsibilities:


  • Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of four bridge projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of project managers, engineers, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for TfL, London Underground, and other key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective coordination.
  • Subcontractor Management: Oversee the selection, negotiation, and management of subcontractors, ensuring all partners meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop robust mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
  • Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with relevant safety, quality, and environmental standards and regulations.


Rail Senior Project Manager requirements:


  • Experience: Proven track record of managing large-scale rail and bridge projects, with significant interface with TfL and London Underground.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, with exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Communication: Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
