ROLE PROFILE:

In this role you will be responsible for defining and implementing the software testing strategy, framework and best practice for the Technology Products. You will be the subject matter expert and act as a key point of contct for all QA releases and for QA service. provide oversight/direction to a team of testers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
  • Oversee all aspects of transition of subject matter knowledge including of test tooling and practices from incumbent vendor and build out Capital Markets Quality Assurance division to deliver best-in-class testing service across all types of testing - functional, performance, resiliency, disaster recovery, failovers, system integration, regression etc
  • Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
  • Assist in generation of use cases to ensure that all functional and non-functional requirements of a system are captured during the product design phase.
  • Define test methods and create test plans for new or updated software projects to determine if the software will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements as well as established standards under both normal and abnormal condition
  • Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated) and create test reports to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction.
  • Responsible for assuring that output from the process includes adequate identification and interpretation of product requirements, such as a) traceability requirements, b) test requirements, c) usability, etc.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING: :
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
  • Significant experience in a similar role working in financial institutions, Independent Software Vendors or financial data vendors and an understanding of Capital Markets Domain (Equities or FX)
  • Experience in complex, business critical real time information systems
  • Strong relationship management skills working with business stakeholders.
