Development Manager

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Development Project Manager for a leading retirement village developer focusing on both current and future projects, working closely with the Senior Development Manager.


The successful candidate will be involved throughout the entire development lifecycle, with a particular focus on technical and construction delivery, driving sites through the development process to be handed over to the operational teams.


This role will suit an individual who can work autonomously, while having demonstrable knowledge of construction sites and client expectations, ensuring projects are delivered on budget and in line with workflow requirements.


This is a Hybrid role, requiring travel across the South of the UK, with the working week being split between home working and site visits as required.


Key Requirements:

Degree level qualification, preferably in a project management, construction or technical / design.

  • Experience of managing multiple projects, ideally in a residential or later living setting
  • Demonstrable understanding of the technical design process and how to implement development projects
  • Strong understanding of construction procurement & delivery
  • Able to identify and apply relevant legislation
  • Individually driven to excel and have passion for building and construction
