Pentagon Talent have partnered with an outstanding top 200 UK law firm, in their search for a newly created position as Revenue Assistant. An already established presence within the legal industry, boasting with over 100 years of experience, our client is seeking a dynamic Revenue Assistant who is keen to develop and grow within the company.

It would be beneficial that the ideal candidate has at least 1 years experience in a similar role and the successful candidate will have some knowledge of the SAR Solicitor Account Rules and have experience with processing bills.

Duties/Responsibilities of the Revenue Assistant

  • Submitting bills accurately and promptly
  • Collecting outstanding debt of invoices, in relation to the Revenue Control's teams requirements
  • Proactively responding and handling queries raised and escalated to fee earners/Revenue Controllers or management when required
  • Responsibly producing both weekly and monthly WIP reports
  • Producing credit card payments
  • Chasing overdue debt and updating the system accordingly
  • Sending out statements and letting to clients on a monthly basis
  • Providing support to the Billers and Revenue Controllers on an ad-hoc basis

Desired experience of the Revenue Assistant

  • The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years operating as a Revenue Assistant, Biller or Credit Controller within a legal finance facility
  • Experience with handling accounting packages and internal processes
  • Previous experience in using online banking systems
  • A strong team player
  • The ability to resolve queries in a timely manner
  • It would be beneficial to have a keen eye to attention to detail and able to handle work accurately
