THE TEAM
Our Portfolio Management team has the delegation to perform post-investment oversight and management on behalf of the Fund Manager, working closely with our local platforms to ensure oversight whilst benefitting from the platforms’ expertise in their domain. The team includes central team members who have many years’ collective experience working with the asset classes and with our local platforms. During the course of overseeing our post-acquisition investments, the team makes investment decisions through delegated authorities and work with:
- Servicers to monitor and manage ongoing performance
- the Fund Operations, and Legal teams to ensure the implementation of post-purchase projects and ongoing investment administration activities are implemented effectively
- Finance and Valuation teams to ensure the correct tracking and forecasting of investments.
- Fund Leads and internal governance, providing timely and clear investment updates
Responsibilities include
We are seeking an Analyst/Associate to support our team in optimizing investment performance at an asset level within the portfolio. This role involves collaborating with Portfolio Management teams and platforms locally to assist in portfolio reviews, performance analysis, and strategy implementation to enhance fund performance. Attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment are essential for success in this role.
- Assist in producing detailed analysis and cash flow modelling to measure performance, supporting regular portfolio reviews and driving investment strategy.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues across the Arrow Group and platforms to support operational activities aimed at increasing asset optimization.
- Assist in gathering data from multiple sources to assess performance and risks of assets in the fund, contributing insights into asset-level valuation processes, including cash flow forecasting.
- Provide detailed analysis on market trends, economic indicators, and industry dynamics to assess their potential impact on deals and investments.
- Ensure compliance with investment decision-making governance processes to optimize investment returns and ensure regulatory compliance and internal policy adherence.
- Share relevant insights on market trends, economic indicators, and industry dynamics with the team.
- Help build relationships with Arrow’s local asset management teams, servicing platforms, partners, and third parties to support due diligence and business plan preparation, ensuring compliance with accounting, treasury, tax, legal, and regulatory requirements, as well as internal policy.
- Gain understanding of local credit and real estate market risks associated with potential investments and contribute to strategy development
Required qualifications and experience
- Proven experience gained with Financial Services, Investment or Asset Management. Economics, or related field desirable.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review and develop investment cash flow forecasting models.
- Working knowledge of at least one alternate investment asset class, including Lending, Real Estate and Credit
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, additional European Language skills advantageous however, not essential.
- Good grasp of investment decision-making processes, governance frameworks and regulatory requirements
- The ability to analyse market trends and economic indicators, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Familiarity with investment analysis tools and software.
