With over 50 years’ experience in the design and manufacture of precision components, they are a sub-contract engineering company based in Macclesfield, specialising in the supply of high-quality machined components in a variety of materials, using the latest CNC technology.
They are now looking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to develop an exciting career path and further opportunities within the Engineering sector.
About The Role:
The successful candidate will be comfortable and committed to working at all levels and cross functional purposes where needed.
The customer base is longstanding and most of our business is won through repeat orders.
The next phase of the business is to pursue a driven Operations Manager with an Engineering background and experience in Sales.
This experience would be the perfect combination to drive growth and future stability for the company.

Candidate Requirements:
- Experience and ability to initiate and drive sales opportunities for the business.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Engineering environment.
- Preferably local to Macclesfield Stockport.
- HND or equivalent in Eng.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience of managing a team in an engineering environment.
- Experience of good customer relations at all levels.
- Motivational and inspirational leader.
- Excellent team builder.
- A good knowledge and understanding of engineering QHSE standards.
- A proven record of gaining trust and respect within an organisation.
- A good understanding of HR requirements.
