We are looking for an experienced Field Engineer to lead the installations team. The role offers leadership and improvement opportunities alongside an opportunity to continue building out an ever-growing team.
Key areas of responsibility will include but not be limited to:
- Installation and Setup: Install and configure point of sale hardware and software systems at customer locations, ensuring they are properly integrated with existing infrastructure.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and make necessary repairs to ensure uninterrupted system functionality.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and employees on how to use and troubleshoot the point-of-sale systems effectively.
- Technical Expertise: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in point-of-sale technology and remain proficient in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service calls, inventory, and equipment status, and provide timely reports to the service team and management.
- Customer Relations: Foster positive customer relationships by delivering exceptional service, resolving customer inquiries and issues promptly, and maintaining a professional and courteous demeanour.
