Job Overview

The Paid Social Account Director will lead the paid social department, overseeing the strategy, execution, and optimization of high-performance paid social media campaigns. With a focus on driving results, you will manage a team of Paid Social Managers and collaborate with clients to ensure their goals are met and exceeded. You will also be a key player in expanding and enhancing the agency's paid social offering, while ensuring best-in-class service delivery. A minimum of 5 years of experience in paid social advertising is required, ideally in a performance-focused environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and oversee the strategic direction of paid social campaigns for key clients, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Client Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, building and maintaining strong relationships, and providing strategic recommendations based on campaign performance.
  • Campaign Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of high-performance paid social campaigns across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Twitter.
  • Performance Focus: Ensure campaigns are delivering on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ROAS, CPA, and other client-specific metrics, using data to inform decisions and strategies.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of Paid Social Managers and Executives, ensuring the effective management of campaigns while fostering professional development.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as PPC, SEO, and creative teams to ensure integrated campaign strategies and a unified digital approach.
  • Creative & Audience Strategy: Collaborate with the creative team to produce high-converting ad creatives, and develop advanced audience segmentation strategies for targeted campaigns.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Oversee the budgeting process, ensuring optimal allocation of client budgets across campaigns, forecasting performance, and adjusting spend to maximize ROI.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Regularly analyze campaign data, generate insights, and implement A/B testing to optimize performance, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Reporting & Insights: Deliver in-depth campaign reports to clients, outlining performance, insights, and actionable recommendations for future strategies.
  • Market Trends & Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions to clients.


Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing paid social campaigns with a strong focus on performance marketing, preferably in an agency environment.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with the ability to inspire and develop talent.
  • Client Management: Strong client-facing skills, with experience managing high-value accounts and delivering exceptional service.
  • Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of paid social platforms, particularly Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, Instagram, and TikTok, with a deep understanding of performance metrics and optimization techniques.
  • Data & Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret campaign data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights in a clear, concise manner.
  • Creativity & Innovation: Ability to think creatively and strategically, contributing to campaign ideation and execution.
  • Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices in paid social media advertising.
