The Projects Team Manager (CPG) will provide professional project management and property related services. Professional services will comprise managing surplus land and buildings whilst identifying opportunities for maximisation/rationalise/repurposing /demolition.
Professional services will typically comprise feasibility studies, due diligence and project management services. The post will support the delivery of the Capital Investment Plan of the commercial portfolio as required.
The post will promote safe working practices and champion Health and Safety.
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities will include:
Management of professional and technical staff in the efficient delivery to meet challenging timescales within budget requirements.
- Resource management, programming and cost control of projects.
- Deputise for the Technical Services Manager.
- Ensure compliance with Statutory requirements such as CDM duties, HASWA, DDA, Asbestos and Legionella.
- Responsible for professional fee income and cost accountability.
- Assemble and manage professional/technical team(s) in a collaborative working environment.
- Procurement and management of supply chains.
- Prepare and deliver credible, accurate and timely reports providing professional advice and recommendations to the Board, funder and other statutory deadlines.
- Ensure the management standards are adopted.
- Anticipate the need for change and provide solutions to the senior management team.
- Represent City Property LLP internally and externally as required.
- Responsible for ensuring Health and Safety and risk management procedures are understood and adhered to.
- Provide strategic support to colleagues managing incidents outwith normal working hours.
