The role sits on an investment desk made up of highly regarded Portfolio Managers and Traders. It has coverage across the firm’s European multi-strategy offering, with a remit that is both technical, analytical and quantitative (operations & finance sit completely seperate).

The role offers varied progression potential – TA’s in offices overseas have moved internally into trading roles over the past 2yrs, a couple have gone on to be junior portfolio managers and there are also ex-TA’s now in risk, business manager and treasury positions. International moves are also possible. We expect that top performers can earn similar progression in the firm’s London office over the coming years.

Candidates should be experienced hedge fund / IB trader assistants / middle office professionals. My client favours STEM academic profiles, coding skills, a solid grasp of derivatives and ideally experience working in a high volume trading environment.

This is a very important hire – my client is committed to paying the successful candidate a minimum +10-20% increase on his/her current base and a 50%+ bonus potential (the larger variable dependant on individual & fund performance).
