Meraki Talent is partnered with a UK-widee Financial Services firm to support the recruitment of an experienced Paraplanner to their team based in Bath. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a salary of £45,000 depending on experience and a hybrid working model.


Applicants should have a technical background, with strong attention to detail with hands-on approach, and be qualified to Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS), or level 4 equivalent, with a desire to progress to Chartered status.


Key duties will include:


  • Providing full paraplanning support to a group of advisors
  • Assisting advisers with technical queries
  • Meeting with a group of financial planners, and sharing meaningful content
  • Production of client reports
  • Preparing suitability reports
  • Ensuring up-to-date product and provider changes
  • Carrying out technical research and analysis


This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and demanding function, which delivers a high level of technical competence to customers.


Applicants should:


  • Have proven experience working as a Paraplanner
  • Have experience in analysing clients' aims with the ability to construct solutions
  • Have the ability to provide support and guidance to junior team members
  • Be able to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and deliver client solutions.
  • Be able to manage various workstreams and meet client deadlines
