Purpose of the Role:

This role is within the Finance Change team to help achieve some of the key strategic objectives of the group, particular focused around the implementation of capabilities to support new business growth within the CRIS (Corporate Risk & Investment Solution) business unit.

As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • Working with others in your feature team to work on requirements, to present them in a way that can be understood, and to support their build and implementation. This may be with internal teams or partners who are third parties.
  • Working with Finance and CRIS SMEs to develop appropriate business solutions for new and emerging requirements.
  • Working with the team to anticipate and unblock issues that they may encounter. You'll need to be finding solutions to the problems encountered and facilitate their implementation.
  • Helping prioritise in creative ways so the work can be completed.

What we require from the candidate:

  • Experience working with senior accountants, actuaries and Finance operations teams to elicit requirements and drive through process documentation
  • A high level understanding of M&G Plc's strategy, our key products and distribution methods is advantageous
  • Experience of developing strong working relationships and coordinating activities across finance and wider business areas
  • Knowledge of financial services reporting, regulatory and legislative frameworks
