Our client is a small company of approximately 25 staff, specialising in producing electrical & electronic sub-assemblies to the Industrial Vehicle market, from bodybuilders, to integrators, distributors, and end-users.

Based in Littleborough on the scenic outskirts of Rochdale, bordering Yorkshire.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Previous experience of working within a factory/assembly, doing some electrical assembly/wiring, is essential while soldering experience would be an advantage
  • Fast learner
  • Able to work independently and organise their own workload
  • Show initiative in finding more lean/efficient ways to operate
  • Experience of working other machines, an advantage
  • Willing to learn how to operate other machinery

What will your role look like?

  • Follow drawings, instructions and works orders
  • Use a variety of hand tools
  • Undertake manual handling duties to assemble devices and looms
  • Cutting, preparation and termination of various cables / connectors
  • Use of specific cutting, stripping, crimping semi-automatic machines
  • Testing of assemblies at various stages
  • Have a keen eye for detail and have a quality-driven approach
  • Soldering of cables to PCBs, PCB rework
  • Plastic moulding machine operation
  • Carry out your duties as requested by Team Leaders and Senior Management, your immediate supervisors
  • Work at a good speed
  • Ensure the work area is kept tidy at all times
  • Be aware of and work to high quality standards
  • Understanding and working in accordance with the Company Health and Safety Policy
