Key Responsibilities:
• Produce and enhance IFRS 9 expected losses, management information, and analytical insights to drive recommendations and understand risk appetite thresholds.
• Collaborate with credit analytics, model development, finance, and business intelligence teams to streamline reporting, ensure accuracy and timeliness, and maintain effective controls.
• Support model validation, audits, lifecycle management, and the implementation of new and enhanced IFRS 9 models in compliance with Bank standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain efficient data structures for model risk management and deliver bespoke analytics to aid the front-line business.
• Foster strong relationships with 1st Line businesses, support the development of next-generation IFRS 9 models, stay informed on alternative modelling techniques, and deputize for the Head of Risk Reporting and Analysis as needed.

Essential Skills:
• Strong understanding of IFRS 9 model requirements, with beneficial experience in model development.
• Extensive programming experience in SAS (macros, arrays, scoring/simulation engines); knowledge of SQL, R, Python, or other languages is desirable.
• Proficient in handling diverse data sources, including data cleansing, validation, and governance.
• Experienced in change management, implementing new models in a change-control environment, with skills in version control, traceability, documentation, and handovers.
