Our client, a highly regarded boutique Asset Manager with circa £30 bil AUM is looking to add to their UK Client Services team by hiring an Associate to service all clients by providing fund and operational assistance as well as supporting the broader sales team with their day-to-day activity in raising and maintaining assets.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage client queries in a timely & professional manner. Queries range from literature requests, detailed fund information and commentary, performance, data and attribution requests and assisting with dealing, pricing & operational queries.
  • Keep the sales team updated on all client interaction to ensure that the flow of information remains constant and that no opportunities are missed.
  • Ensure that all regular client reporting is collated & distributed to clients by the agreed deadlines. Help to produce bespoke client reports.
  • Help the sales team organise client meetings and events. Assist with the preparation of fund material for meetings.
  • Work with Head of UK Client Service to ensure the accurate and timely completion of RFPs and client questionnaires (one offs & regular) for new and existing clients.
  • Facilitate the review and completion of all client legal agreements, side letters, NDA’s by liaising with clients & the relevant internal departments.
  • Attend roadshows, conferences and client meetings as required.
  • Help the sales team with follow ups post client meetings and investor conferences.
  • Maintain and update records on the CRM database.Work with the sales team to keep client records up to date.
  • Build & maintain effective internal relationships with relevant colleagues to ensure that high levels of client service are maintained at all times.
  • Prepare competitor analysis & performance data for the sales team and clients.


Background & Experience

  • You will have at least 2 years’ experience working in a client services or sales support capacity from within the Asset Management arena.
  • Good knowledge of unit trusts, OEICs, pricing and OCFs.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, high attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • A good understanding of Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of the sales process with wholesale and institutional investors.
  • Good knowledge of competitors, relative performance, funds and buy lists for our major clients.
