Work alongside the Creative Director to research new print and graphic ideas, translate these into CAD drawings and design instructions for sampling. Have an excellent understanding of current trends with the ability to react/move ahead of the trends to create desirable prints.


Responsibilities

  • Researching, developing and creating prints, graphics, and logo designs for all-over and placement across all categories with the guidance of the Creative Director
  • Interpreting customer trends to design and create suitable graphics and prints that are commercially sound
  • Contributing to and developing print and graphic trend boards in collaboration with the design team
  • Producing accurate and detailed CAD drawings for sampling and presenting to the team
  • Coordinating product development with suppliers by developing and sourcing new print techniques and sampling across a global supply base
  • Building and maintaining good working relationships with global suppliers to ensure sample accuracy and quality
  • Supporting design team with day to day tasks

  • Have good communication skills with a positive and accommodating attitude
  • Self-motivated, hardworking and confident
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • A minimum of 3 years industry experience
  • Demonstrate creative expertise
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong experience and enthusiasm for graphics and print
  • Continuously researches new trends and contributes this new knowledge to the team
  • Confident in presenting trends and design developments internally
  • Ability to use Photoshop and Illustrator
