Build the Future of Sustainable Energy Infrastructure: Site Selection Specialist

Do you crave a challenge that goes beyond the bottom line? Are you passionate about building a cleaner future for industry?

Our client, a pioneering energy startup, is seeking a Site Selection Specialist to join their dynamic team in London. In this groundbreaking role, you'll be a driving force behind their mission to create next-generation, low-carbon energy campuses across Europe.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Become a land and energy acquisition maestro, identifying and securing prime locations for their industrial campuses.
  • Think strategically, defining site selection programs and go-to-market tactics with their team and customers.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary crew - think energy gurus, engineers, legal eagles, and more - to make site selection a seamless success.
  • Build strong relationships with local communities, crafting win-win solutions that benefit everyone.
  • Negotiate and secure sites like a pro, crafting agreements with landowners, utilities, and community stakeholders.
  • Navigate permitting processes with ease, securing approvals and documentation to keep things moving.
  • Oversee the development of your chosen sites.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds a degree in Energy, Real Estate, Business, Engineering, or a related field (think change-maker).
  • Boasts at least 5 years of experience in energy, infrastructure, or industrial real estate development. Bonus points for data centre experience
  • Has a proven track record of sealing the deal - think successfully negotiated infrastructure agreements.
  • Understands energy grids, land development regulations, and environmental considerations like a champ.
  • Communicates, negotiates, and manages projects like a boss (and enjoys doing it).
  • Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, collaborating seamlessly with others.
  • Has international experience and is ready to travel up to 50% of the time (the world awaits).

Why join our client?

  • Be part of a pioneering company with a unique focus on sustainability and innovation.
  • Work alongside a talented and passionate team making a real difference.
  • Enjoy a competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Witness your skills and career soar with exceptional growth opportunities.
