Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading logistics and transport business, who are looking for a Fleet Maintenance Planner to join their facility in Doncaster.


Salary - £45-55k + 20% bonus

Flexible working hours – 8-4/9-5

Hybrid working options available


Reporting to the National Fleet Manager, the Fleet Maintenance Planner will lead the Fleet Maintenance Management Team, ensuring delivery of maintenance in accordance with respective plans and schemes of work


Duties of the Fleet Maintenance Planner will include:


  • Management of maintenance activity, aligning capacity, resources, and material availability to provide the most efficient delivery of maintenance in accordance with defined plans and schemes of work
  • Ensure vehicles are presented to relevant maintenance locations in line with defined maintenance plans and schemes of work
  • Responsible for the Fleet Maintenance budget working with the finance team and respective stakeholders to control expenditure
  • Collaborate with the wider Asset Management & Maintenance function and business to ensure that depot workloads are managed to plan and that the plans are executed on time and in full
  • Lead and support continual improvement strategies


We would like to speak with Maintenance Planners with the following:


  • Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of five years’ experience working within an engineering environment.
  • Demonstrable maintenance management experience, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring complex fleets/assets.
  • Technical knowledge relating to railway-based traction and rolling stock or similar industries.
