We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Restaurant Manager for The Library at The Edwardian Manchester, A Radisson Collection Hotel.

Overview:

  • We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Restaurant General Manager for The Library at The Edwardian Manchester.
  • A key focus for this role of Assistant Restaurant General Manager will be to continue to develop the concept from a service and operational perspective, alongside the Restaurant Manager.
  • Working in harmony with the kitchen brigade to offer a seamless and high level of service standards and attention to detail at all times.
  • Ensure guest expectations are exceeded and opportunities to improve the guest experience are created by seeking feedback and evaluating service levels on a daily basis. This will involve implementing new service strategies as required in order to deliver a high level of service and consistency.
  • As Assistant Restaurant General Manager, you will assist the Restaurant Manager with the coaching, developing, and mentoring of the team, ensuring they are offered an excellent induction to The Library and to the hotel as a whole.
  • Your role will involve support to drive sales, forecasting and managing payroll budgets in line with the business demands and adjusting them accordingly as per business needs.

About you:

  • To be considered for this role of Assistant Restaurant General Manager, you must have current Restaurant supervisory experience or be an Assistant Restaurant Manager within a similar operation.
  • You will be capable of demonstrating outstanding leadership, coaching and mentoring to your team with a proven track record of team development with a motivational approach.
  • You will have the ability to manage and achieve budgetary goals by analysing historical data, forecasts and revenues as well as demonstrating experience of driving sale and revenue.
  • You will have the ability to demonstrate personal ownership of tasks and have a proven track record of achieving this.
  • You will have excellent attention to detail with excellent food and beverage knowledge including fine wines.
