Trainee Lettings Negotiator

Location: Cambridge - just outside if the city centre (you will need to be able to drive for viewings etc)


Salary: c£24,000 per annum ( benefits and targets to be agreed with Manager)

1 Saturday a month and only during the busy summer months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting viewings with prospective tenants
  • Be knowledgeable , providing detailed information about the properties.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants
  • Support in negotiating terms and conditions of tenancy agreements
  • Aid in managing the entire lettings process from property advertising to tenant move-in.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the property market and trends in the local area.
  • Handle inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing prompt and professional responses.
  • Assist in the marketing of properties, including creating listings and updating online portals.
  • Participate in property inspections and ensure all properties meet required standards.
  • Assist with property maintenance

Requirements:

  • A keen interest in the real estate or lettings industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet targets.
  • Knowledge of property laws and regulations is a plus but not essential.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
