Our client is a leading organisation committed to excellence in the pharmaceutical distribution industry. Their dedication to maintaining high standards ensures the safe and efficient delivery of medicinal products. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join their team in Birmingham.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage the Quality Assurance department to ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines.
  • Act as the Responsible Person (RP), overseeing all GDP activities and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in line with GDP standards.
  • Ensure compliance and integration of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards within the quality management system.
  • Conduct internal audits and manage external audit processes to identify and rectify non-conformities.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on GDP requirements and quality assurance best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality objectives are met.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to quality and compliance.
  • Handle product recalls, deviations, and complaints in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in GDP regulations and ensure the company’s policies and procedures are aligned.


Qualifications and Experience:


  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager in a GDP environment.
  • Ideally have experience as a Responsible Person (RP) with a deep understanding of GDP regulations.
  • Must have experience working with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
