About the Role
Our Enteral Nutrition Sales team are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager , ideally situated in the Yorkshire/North Yorkshire areas.
We offer a broad portfolio of products to meet the needs of a wide range of enteral nutrition patients including oncology, intensive care, gastroenterology, surgical, neurology, paediatrics and geriatrics
The purpose of this role is to target and win Home Enteral Feeding (HEF) contracts, in addition to maximising the sales and profitability of our enteral nutrition product range across the community care setting .
Key responsibilities will include.
- Identify and target HEF accounts and create robust account plans to win new HEF contracts.
- Identify opportunities for Fresenius Kabi products and deliver sales in the community setting within the defined territory.
- Work in conjunction with the customer contact team to deliver additional in-field support including, customer meetings, training and demonstrations
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions within the CRM system .
- Liaise directly with the Contracts Team to build account specific knowledge relating to each aspect of a tender specification and complete the required documentation.
- To develop and maintain a good working knowledge of the NHS, the industry and to identify and develop KOL’s across the health economy within the defined territory.
- To have a good knowledge of the company, nutrition, and the Fresenius Kabi product range as well as third party products used within the contracts.
- To work within the definition of our sales process and appropriate competency framework.
The ideal candidate
- Bachelor's degree or relevant sales, account management or clinical experience.(e.g Dietitian , OT, PT ,Nurse)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout Yorkshire and surrounding counties as needed.
- Good organisation and time management skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
- Strong team player willing to support colleagues across other locations when necessary.
