About the Role
We’re looking for an energetic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This role is at the heart of our growth strategy, responsible for identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships, and driving revenue.
You’ll thrive if you’re a natural networker, love working closely with clients, and can turn conversations into contracts. Expect variety, collaboration, and the chance to make a measurable impact in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
Outreach & Lead Generation
- Proactively identify and contact potential clients through phone and email outreach.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads to hit ambitious growth targets.
- Research and understand client needs to craft tailored pitches.
New Business Meetings
- Schedule and lead engaging in-person and virtual meetings with prospects.
- Present LDOT’s and LeadTap’s capabilities, with a focus on how we deliver ROI and standout design.
- Build trust, rapport, and confidence during every interaction.
Proposal Creation
- Develop compelling proposals that capture client needs, goals, and our unique solutions.
- Collaborate with our creative and strategy teams to ensure alignment and quality.
Contract Development
- Draft clear and detailed Statements of Work and contracts.
- Manage revisions and ensure mutual agreement between parties.
Network and Partnership Development
- Identify and pursue partnership opportunities to extend LDOT’s reach and influence.
- Nurture and grow relationships with existing and potential partners / clients.
Lead Qualification
- Evaluate inbound leads to assess fit and potential.
- Engage prospects to determine their needs, challenges, and readiness to move forward.
What You Bring
Experience: 3+ years in business development, sales, or account management.
Proven Track Record: Success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and building strong client relationships.
Relationship Building: A natural talent for connecting with people, fostering trust, and nurturing long-term partnerships.
Communication Skills: Confident, clear, and persuasive in both written and verbal interactions.
Attention to Detail: Impeccable organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools, sales software, and digital platforms is a plus.
Proactive Attitude: Self-starter with a hunger to achieve and a knack for spotting opportunities.
