A global leader in Financial Services is looking for a Project Manager/ Business Analyst to join their team, working on a long-term global programme of work. The work is within Treasury back-office operations and experience in this area is preferred.
Business Analysis:
- Elicit and document detailed business requirements for Treasury back-office projects
- Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to meet business needs
- Develop functional specifications, process flows, and data models
- Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
Project Management:
- Lead Treasury back-office projects from initiation to closure, adhering to project management best practices
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues
- Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders regularly
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Treasury department and other business units
- Effectively manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders
- Negotiate and influence project decisions
Book of Work Management:
- Evaluate project feasibility and align projects with strategic goals
- Optimise resource utilisation and ensure timely project delivery
Job requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Treasury back-office operations or a similar role
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis and project management
- Strong understanding of Treasury systems, processes, and regulations
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Professional certifications in Treasury, business analysis, or project management (e.g., CTP, CBAP, PMP)
- Experience with data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau)
