Position: Contract Design Engineer

Role Overview: As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of tunnelling projects from conception through to execution. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring project success and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed design plans and specifications for tunnelling projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for tunnelling designs.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports for project stakeholders.
- Oversee the implementation of designs, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Participate in site visits and provide on-site support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must have 3+ years Tunnelling Experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in tunnelling design, preferably in a contracting environment.
- Strong knowledge of tunnelling techniques, materials, and safety regulations.
- Proficient in design software and tools relevant to tunnelling engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
