Role: Training Manager - Solar PV, energy storage systems, electric vehicle charging, heat pumps

As the Training Manager, you will have a crucial role in delivering accredited training courses at our purpose-built state-of-the-art Training Academy in Rochester, Kent. You will also lead on developing new training programs in response to industry and customer needs. We have a quality-first approach to training, and this role offers the creative freedom to develop and deliver new training initiatives that support the development of technical skills, industry knowledge and overall professional growth within the renewables sector, working closely with our suppliers and industry bodies to do so. This position requires a strong passion for teaching, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the renewable energy industry.


Education/Skills required

o Proven experience as a Training Manager in the electrical sector, preferably on solar PV, EESS, EV and/or heat pumps.

o In-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies, practices, and regulations.

o Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.

o Computer literate with good working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

o Proficiency in instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.

o Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.

o Ability to assess training needs, develop training strategies, and measure the effectiveness of training initiatives.

£55K salary with a £5k car allowance. 25 days holiday +1 day to support a charity of your choice, Quarterly profit share, pension etc
