EdEx are working with an 'Outstanding' 2 Form Entry Primary School based in Yardley, Birmingham. The Headteacher is keen to hire an Unqualified Teaching Assistant for SEN to support children with additional needs including ASD, ADHD, SpLD, SEMH needs and more.
This Unqualified Teaching Assistant for SEN role involves supporting children with SEND/SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis, as well as assisting class teachers with delivering core subject material. This is the ideal role for those looking to pursue a career in education, psychology, sociology, social work, mental health support work and more
Unqualified Teaching Assistant for SEN - Job Description
- Working in an 'Outstanding' Primary School
- Based in Yardley, Birmingham
- Supporting children with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
- January 2025 start
- Monday - Friday only
- Term-Time, Long-Term and Full-Time position
- £105 - £110 per day
- Working across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Monitoring the progress of pupils and assisting children of various ages and abilities
The Ideal Unqualified Teaching Assistant for SEN
- A graduate with strong academics across the board - GCSEs, A-Levels and Degree
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous school-based experience working with children with SEN
- A drive to inspire the younger generation
