This role will be responsible for the Food & Beverage operation, leading the relevant teams to ensure the delivery of the best guest experience and optimising F&B profitability within the Hotel.

The Role:

Reporting directly into the Hotel Manager, the Director of Food & Beverage will:

  • Be responsible for the overall Food & Beverage operation within the hotel, managing and delivering on the functions targets, growth and performance
  • Proactively looking for opportunities of growth within the Food & Beverage operation
  • Ensure that Customer Experience is at the forefront of all Food & Beverage activities
  • Lead and develop the Food & Beverage team, encouraging and identifying any development opportunities
  • Oversee and prioritise Health & Safety within their function along with the hotel in general
  • Ensure all legislation in relation to Food & Beverage activities are adhered to
  • Work closely with other teams within the hotel in a collaborative manner to ensure the best possible outcomes
  • Be strategic in deliverance to optimise and maintain productivity and expense performance

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience leading a Food & Beverage operation
  • Previous experience in a Leadership role acting as a role model to those within their team
  • Have a key focus on Customer Service
  • Has the ability to effectively articulate their operation and strategy for success
  • Experience in managing a high performing team
  • Experience in managing and resolving customer complaints in an effective and efficient manner
