We need a committed and reliable candidate to manage the sports and social bookings and events for this organisation based in Swindon. You will act as the first point of contact, responsible for managing the sports bookings request via the in-house system, providing availability and prices whilst managing the bookings through to the confirmation stage. Handling payments and welcoming the arrival of customers using the facilities and grounds. This role seeks an organised and methodical approach, ensuring that bookings are taken over the telephone and via email in a professional manner, producing written costings, and confirmation of events, dates, and attendees.


As Part-time Sports and Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all internal and external areas are kept clean and tidy, conducting checks in line with Health and Safety regulations. You will be fully involved in the setup of rooms and outside sports areas, receiving parcel deliveries with goods and services used and required for specific events, checking that emergency procedures are in place and adhered to including Fire and Evacuation and First Aid procedures.


Naturally, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills to be used to manage customer requests and produce written communication. There is a need to help with emergency cleaning in the event of spillages, leaks and general little picking and collection. A very busy but rewarding part-time opportunity that includes extensive customer interface and communication skills.
