At Altrad Babcock, our Major Projects division is experiencing tremendous growth, and we are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Renfrew. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, to cover all aspects of Quantity Surveying, commercial and contract management, along with any other key duties as required. This post is primarily based at our Renfrew office, but some flexibility will be required. This site may involve site visits throughout the UK to ensure exposure to a wide range of disciplines and contracting methodology.



As our new Quantity Surveyor, you will ensure robust, accurate and timely cost and value reporting for projects and support the Commercial Managers requirements for reporting at business unit level, you will also ensure accurate forecasting of revenue, margin and cash flow for live and upcoming projects.



Backed by a degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, and previous experience of the construction industry, preferably holding a position in the industry for the past 5 years, you will have the ability to challenge Project Managers on resources and cost on live and upcoming projects. Our new Quantity Surveyor will possess excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines with minimal supervision, allowing you to ensure that contractual requirements are met, including adherence to contract schedules for valuations, certification and invoicing.



The successfully candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to interact well with the team members and stakeholders.
