Our client, a global market leader for material handling systems are looking to recruit a Project Engineer to join their team in Liverpool.


With the growing order book, our customer are looking for dynamic individuals to take ownership of their new projects. You’ll be expected to make decisions independently & have experience of working in an Automotive manufacturing OR material handling environment.


The Project Engineer works closely with the Project Managers & Managing Director to support Project completion whilst co-ordinating all the activities / stakeholders required for project completion.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Effective leadership and management of multiple projects
  • Obtain full handover of information from Sales and ensure buy-in and support of functional managers (Procurement / Supply Chain / Engineering / Manufacturing / Installations)
  • Proactively identify risk areas and effectively mitigate by implementation of contingency actions
  • Use MS Projects and PMP principles to plan and monitor the projects
  • Develop and maintain effective and positive relationships with customers and suppliers and all internal stakeholders


Skills and Experience:

  • Sound engineering knowledge and understanding
  • Proficient in the use of MS Projects
  • Minimum HNC in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
