Job Title: Production Assistant
Location: Germains - Kings Lynn
Fixed Term: December 2024 to February 2025
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Production Assistant to support our high standards in production efficiency, product quality, and workplace safety. This role involves operating production processes, assisting with equipment maintenance, and contributing to a clean, organised, and safe work environment. You’ll work closely with our Production and Engineering teams to address equipment needs, monitor product quality, and engage in continuous improvement projects to optimise production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the production plan, monitor product quality, and report any deviations or issues.
- Perform quality tests and routine maintenance tasks, maintaining detailed records.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to promptly address machine setups and breakdowns.
- Engage in Health & Safety practices, including the ‘near miss’ reporting procedure.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements as needed.

- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Basic mechanical skills for first-line maintenance.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
Location:
This role is carried out entirely on-site at the location in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.
