Purpose of the role:


As a Product Developer, you will manage the co-ordination of the Agent Provocateur collections, from initial design through to production hand over ensuring the creative direction of the Agent Provocateur brand is to the required specification and standards, while maintaining company target margins.


Category overview will be, but not limited to, Lingerie, Nightwear, RTW, Swim, Hosiery, and Single Knickers.


Main Duties & Responsibilities:


  • End-to-end development process ensuring highest quality standards for the delivery window per season.
  • Responsible for delivering prototypes and samples on time to the quality standards.
  • To have knowledge of lingerie or multi-channel extensions in terms of construction and manufacturing processes.
  • Oversea manage the timings of product briefs and BOMS. Production BOMs to sign off for bulk production.
  • BOM management with fabric, design or price changes to the suppliers for costing.


Critical Path Management

  • Ensure mainline timelines are followed and key dates are achieved.
  • Support key suppliers in managing key dates and alerting the relevant team of any issues.
  • Development sample trackers kept up to date with all the relevant information.
  • Chasing in all required samples across product categories according to deadlines.


Product Development

  • Ensure all business tools are updated with correct information to ensure a smooth handover to Production.
  • Collate samples and information for all milestone meetings - including sample reviews, sign off and wholesale/franchise conferences.
  • Press samples co-ordination.
  • Support design and product teams with ad hoc admin duties.


Fabric, Trim and Packaging Development and Resourcing

  • Ensuring the sourcing of trims, elastic and hardware are in line with design needs.
  • Packaging development and manuals to support new development.


Communication:

  • Manage the development critical path with design and suppliers. Ensure all end-to-end stages keep in line with key set dates, working closely with both product and technical teams.
  • Assist the Product Manager with cross costing packs and setting up of new suppliers.
  • Support production meetings, follow ups at suppliers.
  • Responsible for weekly sample tracker to ensure it is populated and up to date.
  • Liaise with factories and ensure PBs/BOMs are clear, concise and complete with trim info, lead time, price etc.
  • Ensure all working documents are kept up to date and relevant to ensure wider teams use the correct information.
  • Ensure key working relationships and effective communications with, but not limited to Design, Technical, Communications and Partners.


What you'll need:


  • Good computer knowledge. Microsoft 365
  • Adobe CC beneficial.
  • Experience with European and Far East suppliers beneficial
