Our client is a leading player in the automotive industry, dedicated to providing unparalleled insights into the automotive logistics landscape. They are the driving force behind a year-round, 360-degree content experience that encompasses news, analysis, features, and cutting-edge insights. As the Managing Editor, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping their narrative and expanding their reach within the industry.
Your role:
As the Managing Editor, you'll be at the helm of content creation and delivery for our client. From spearheading original news, interviews, and features to moderating engaging online panels and events, you'll lead a team of creative minds to new heights. Your expertise will be the driving force behind their content across multiple channels, including digital, print, podcasts, and special projects.
What you will do:
Oversee the production of daily news, analysis, and features for the Automotive Logistics website and multimedia platforms.
Lead interviews with top decision-makers in the automotive supply chain and logistics sector, contributing to online, print, video, and podcast content.
Keep their website up to date, manage contributors, and apply SEO strategies to drive traffic and engagement.
Collaborate closely with sales, design, marketing, and event teams to align content goals.
Host and moderate webinars, podcasts, and live-streamed events to engage with their audience.
Drive audience growth through deepening your understanding of the automotive logistics sector and identifying new areas of expansion.
Collaborate with various teams to enhance user engagement, user experience, and product design.
Support sales and marketing teams in expanding the reach of their products and generating revenue.
Develop and maintain a strong network of industry connections and stakeholders.
You will have:
Over five years of B2B editing experience, with a strong portfolio of managing and producing engaging content.
Proficiency in online platforms and publishing tools, including content management systems and SEO strategies.
Exceptional moderating, panel hosting, and public speaking skills.
A background or keen interest in logistics, supply chain management, or the automotive sector is preferred.
Strong interviewing skills and a track record of securing exclusive interviews with industry leaders.
Multimedia content experience, including video and podcast production.
Experience in print production and social media engagement.
A creative and hands-on attitude, ready to make an impact and deliver quality content.
Strong network and connections within the industry are advantageous.
