We are embarking on an exciting journey to establish a boutique yoga studio in London, Notting Hill. Our vision is to create a sanctuary that not only promotes physical and mental well-being but also fosters a sense of connection among its members and with the local community. We face the exciting challenge of bringing this vision to life - a task that requires expertise in studio setup, business development, and operational management.


To navigate this journey, we are seeking a seasoned professional with hands-on experience in opening or managing a yoga studio, preferably in London. This individual will play a critical role in transforming our concept into a functional and flourishing enterprise.


We are open to discussing the nature of this collaboration, which could range from a consultancy role to a more permanent position within our team or a partnership, based on the mutual alignment of goals and expertise.



In this role you will:


  • Oversee the complete setup of the studio, from interior design and layout planning to ensuring that the space meets our aesthetic and functional goals.
  • Develop a comprehensive business plan, including market analysis, service offerings, pricing strategy, and defining our unique selling propositions.
  • Implement operational frameworks for studio management, covering staff recruitment, training, scheduling, maintenance, and customer service excellence.
  • Collaborate on marketing strategies to build brand awareness, attract clients, and establish a strong community presence.
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations, including health and safety standards, legal requirements, and industry best practices for operating a yoga studio in London.
  • Manage the project timeline, budget, and resources to ensure the studio opens on schedule and within budget.
  • Potentially transition into a full-time managerial role upon the successful launch of the studio, overseeing daily operations, ensuring profitability, and driving the studio’s growth, or help us recruit the right person for this role.



Required Skills and Experience:


  • Proven track record in setting up and/or managing a yoga studio, with a preference for candidates with experience in the London market.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop and execute a business plan from inception to operation.
  • Exceptional leadership qualities with experience in team building and staff management.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing budgets, with a focus on achieving and maintaining profitability.
  • Deep understanding of the yoga industry trends and customer preferences in London.
  • Robust network within the local yoga and wellness community.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Flexibility in approach and open to potentially transitioning from a consultancy role to a full-time managerial position.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in yoga, fitness, wellness, or studio management are advantageous.
