We are looking to recruit a Manual Software Tester t on a permanent basis in Doncaster.

Please note, although we do offer hybrid/flexible working - you will be required to come to the office at least twice a week so someone within commuting distance to Doncaster is required.


Manual Software Tester to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about ensuring software quality and thrive in a collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications, ensuring they meet functional and performance requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using relevant tools (e.g. DevOps).
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other testers to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
  • Write and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
  • Perform regression testing and ensure defects are resolved before releases.
  • Validate that user stories and acceptance criteria are met.
  • Provide feedback on user experience and interface usability.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and other Agile ceremonies.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in manual software testing.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in testing APIs and using API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI is a plus.
  • Ability to identify test requirements from technical specifications and user stories.
  • Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
  • Test API functionality and integration using tools such as Postman or SoapUI is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and backend testing is a plus.
