Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement the company’s risk management strategy, aligning with business goals and regulatory frameworks.

Risk Reviews and Projects

  • Conduct end-to-end standard and thematic risk reviews of processes.
  • Identify new risk and control themes and trends.
  • Manage special projects related to risk and control.

Framework Development and Maintenance

  • Support the development and upkeep of risk framework sections.
  • Define and monitor risk appetite statements and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
  • Facilitate the completion of policy and procedure documents.
  • Govern the introduction of new products or processes.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Maintain KRIs and ensure they are reviewed at the board level.
  • Prepare and complete validation reports, including review and challenge processes.
  • Conduct stress and scenario testing.
  • Provide regular reporting against risk appetites.


Key Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in risk analysis within the reinsurance sector.
  • Education: Preferably degree-educated or equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of reinsurance markets, excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Interpersonal: Ability to build proactive working relationships with stakeholders across various departments.
