Trade Assistant role with Global Hedge Fund

We are working with our client, a $15bn multi-strat hedge fund, who are looking to make a newly created hire for their Trade Assistant team. The firm in question is coming off the back of a strong 2023 and is looking to expand their team accordingly.
The role itself offers an opportunity to get involved in more than just your typical BAU responsibilities, as they have a separate operations team covering a lot of that.
This person would sit on the trading desk and report into the trading team.
This team is involved in P&L reporting, performance analysis and various types of reporting, amongst other duties. This will also present an opportunity for the candidate to develop their Python skills.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant middle office/trade support/operations experience, from either another hedge fund or an investment bank. Ideally, they will also be a specialist in fixed income products. Python experience is nice to have, but not essential.
