The Kingsmills is a 4-star, 147 luxury bedroom hotel situated in Inverness, Capital of the Highlands. Offering sumptuous rooms, fine dining, relaxing spa facilities, weddings and events. Most of our bedrooms have views of our landscaped gardens and Inverness golf course.

We are recruiting for an experiencedFront Office Managerto join our team who is enthusiastic, genuine, strong leader, organised, team player and eager to provide great hospitality to our guests.

About the Role of Front of House Manager

  • Manage our very busy reception ensuring the smooth and efficient day to day running.
  • Delivery of exceptional customer service from a warm highland welcome to check out.
  • Leading, training and developing new associates within a team of eight.
  • Ensure all guest enquiries and requests are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
  • Duty Management shifts are part of this role.

We are looking for a Front of House Manager who has:

  • A proven track record in a similar role with a minimum of two years management experience in a quality Hotel.
  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate individuals within the team.
  • A great personality, approachable and a people's person.
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills gained through previous experience.
  • Experience of using front office systems such as Rezlynx.
  • Excellent communication both verbally and written.
  • Ability to cope under pressure in a fast paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift.
  • Weekend availability.

Work setting:

  • Hotel.
  • In-person.
