What will the Payroll Analyst do?
Fiserv is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Payroll Analyst to support our UK and EMEA team. This role will primarily focus on UK and EMEA payrolls along with having exposure to other Global payrolls.
The Payroll Analyst will report to the payroll manager and collaborate closely with the payroll and HR team, to guarantee efficiency, compliance processing and maintenance of all payrolls, end-to-end.
The Payroll Analysts requires a fundamental understanding of payroll taxation and general payroll procedures along with staying current on legislative changes and changes in tax laws that may have an influence on payroll and HR.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and completion of end-to-end monthly payroll process including accurate data collection, formatting and input within required deadlines.
- Utilising the Workday system accurately and use reporting capabilities to ensure data is efficiently checked and correct for payday.
- Ensure processes are followed in line with legislation and company policy.
- Assisting with the compilation of payroll reports.
- Assisting with statutory and year end reporting.
- Day to day contact for associates with tier one queries.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with the HR Team, Finance, Managers and Associates.
- Collaboration with the HR Team and HR Operations Team on various third-party vendors.
- Strive for excellence in payroll delivery, identify opportunities for process improvement, and leverage automation solutions.
Requirements
- Previous payroll experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel and preferably Workday
