Position Overview: As a Cloud Systems Engineer, you will be an integral part of their IT Operations team, responsible for maintaining and optimising their cloud platform to meet the evolving needs of their clients. Whether diagnosing and resolving incidents or implementing strategic enhancements, you will contribute to delivering unparalleled service excellence.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the IT Operations team to ensure the delivery of performant and reliable platforms to our valued clients.
  • Provide expert-level support, including incident/problem diagnosis and resolution escalation to the Customer Support team.
  • Conduct routine checks and triage activities, swiftly addressing any issues to uphold service standards.
  • Manage event and incident management for our cloud platforms, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Execute planned change requests and maintenance activities on hosted infrastructure, prioritising customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate customer deployment activities and maintain comprehensive documentation on infrastructure requirements.
  • Offer management and support for on-premises/dedicated clients, including the production of monthly service reports.
  • Promote and expand our IT Operations offerings to existing and potential clients.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for our products and services, driving enhancements and efficiencies.
  • Engage in a blend of project work and BAU activities, catering to both in-flight and live client requirements.


Requirements: Essential:

  • Proven experience managing complex IT infrastructure environments, particularly based on Microsoft technologies, adhering to defined SLAs.
  • Demonstrable expertise in providing technical application-level support and SQL management.
  • Familiarity with enterprise monitoring tools such as System Centre Operations Manager, Azure Application Insights, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration, troubleshooting, and network traffic analysis.
  • Proficiency in managing, documenting, and optimising multi-tenant cloud environments.
  • Ability to research and adopt new technologies, contributing to team knowledge.


Desired:

  • Previous experience with Microsoft technologies, including On-Premise Dynamics CRM.
  • Microsoft Azure certification (AZ-104) is a plus.


Location: This position offers flexibility for remote work or office-based in Nottingham with hybrid working arrangements available.
