Candidate Criteria:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management or other relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in ERP project management, preferably within an SME environment
- Experience of ERP implementation within a manufacturing business
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and their implementation processes, with experience in Odoo or similar a significant advantage
- Proven Project Management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, primarily with subcontractors and outsourced developers
- Experience in developing and implementing ERP training across a range of IT skill levels.
Duties:
- Lead the end-to-end ERP implementation process as directed by the Head of Business Operations, including planning, design, configuration, testing and deployment.
- Manage relationships and assigning and reviewing tasks for the Odoo development team based in India.
- Review and advise on development solutions to ensure fit for purpose before user testing.
- Coordinate and manage other subcontractors and developers, including managing relationships, advising on resourcing shortages and ensuring delivery of high-quality work.
- Ensure thorough testing of the ERP system, including integration, performance, and user acceptance testing in coordination with developers and stakeholders.
- Develop, implement, and regularly review training programs for end-users, ensuring each team is well prepared to utilize the relevant modules effectively.
- Oversee transition to new versions of the ERP system, providing post-implementation support and addressing day to day issues as they arise.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines and budgets and potential roadblocks, communicating these to Head of Business Operations, developers and other stakeholders including senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, and other departments to gather and understand requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Plan and manage integrations with other systems, including Production and R&D applications and tools.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the ERP system.
