About the Role
As the newly appointed London Regional Client Principal you will step into a pivotal role at the start of an ambitious strategy to make London a major growth hub for BJSS. This role will be central to our vision, where you will work closely with a newly appointed Regional Director, to own and drive the sales strategy and accelerate our expansion.
With access to a vast pool of existing clients and the opportunity to leverage a large network of prospects, your mission is to harness this momentum to advance our presence across the London market. You will be instrumental in opening new revenue streams, forging relationships with untapped clients, and broadening our network.
Entrepreneurial, results-oriented, and passionate about technology, you’ll employ your consultative selling and relationship-building expertise to help organisations realise their strategic goals and understand the art of the possible with BJSS.
As a key member of the London Leadership team, you’ll also collaborate closely with our Industries team to align our deep industry knowledge with the specific needs of your clients, driving impactful technology solutions across sectors.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- As an expert in technology business development, you’ll be able to sell to all types of major end to end digital transformation deals, from pure consulting engagements and propositions, right through to digital transformation and Modern Managed Services.
- Identifying new strategic business opportunities with potential and existing clients, enabling BJSS to best serve our clients’ needs by being forward thinking and creative in finding solutions.
- Negotiating business contract terms and conditions with clients, demonstrating high commercial acumen and working with our commercial teams to develop innovative ways to price to win.
- Setting the strategy for our target market to be able to drive innovation in our services.
- Enhancing and promoting the BJSS brand in London, understanding how to differentiate from the competition. Be seen as key thought leader in industry.
- Developing business plan and strategies including new industries, new clients, new partnerships, and new services, in order to hit ambitious revenue and margin goals.
- Influencing London’s evolving capability to meet emerging client demands to stay ahead of the market. Leverage our talent potential to optimise our target market.
About You
The ideal candidate should have a passion for working as part of a dynamic and energetic team to solve industry problems across both technology and business. You will relish taking entrepreneurial and innovative approaches to winning and growing business and will be able to demonstrate success in breaking into new strategic accounts to turbocharge revenue growth.
You’ll bring extensive business development experience gained within the technology sector with a strong, existing network of contacts, preferably including experience in a senior business development role within a leading consultancy.
You will bring experience of driving growth in one or more of the following market sectors: Financial Services, Transport & Travel, Retail and government departments.
You’ll bring past experience of defining and executing on strategic growth plans and will be adept at identifying market differentiators to open strategic accounts and to accelerate and drive new pockets of growth across existing strategic accounts.
You’ll have strong prior exposure of selling strategic, digital, and technological solutions and resources across industry, and deeper experience in either Strategy, digital, data and analytics, or Technology and Engineering.
You can demonstrate high energy, integrity, and track record of exceeding performance expectations in generating revenue and client relationship management.
You’ll be used to developing and strengthening executive level relationships with our clients and will have a strong regional network.
You’ll be able to apply your expertise and research techniques to be able to understand and anticipate client needs.
You’ll have a proven ability to engage with diverse teams, motivate others and communicate complex ideas clearly and succinctly. You will thrive in a culture of constructive and effective communication.
You’ll be an individual who works collaboratively with colleagues and clients and knows how to prioritise workload and meet deadlines and targets.
You’ll bring strong functional knowledge, including but not limited to strategy, business development, account management, marketing and sales and digital development.
