The role:

In this role your responsibility is to action the day- to- day management of your designated accounts. The level of account management required will vary depending on the individual account as you will be expected to lead some, but support Directors on others.


Understanding client business’ and their needs is important so we can demonstrate how Total Media can really help improve their marketing effectiveness and business goals. This will involve taking client briefs and translating them into an easily digestible format for internal teams, whilst owning the project from start to finish within the Total Media 5 in 5 behavioural planning frame work.


The role requires a good understanding of all media channels. We have teams that plan and buy the entire media mix of online and offline but as a CL team we should be able to hold conversations with clients on these channels. Channels include:

  • Offline – TV / OOH / Radio / Cinema / Press.
  • Online – Display & Programmatic / Social / PPC & Organic.


It’s crucial the Senior Manager has strong attention to detail, is highly organised to help prioritise output on accounts and teams, has good presentation skills and is a team player as there is an element of coordination of responses/work from all teams.


Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a comms planning or client servicing role within a media agency is important to hit the ground running.


What we are looking for:

  • You are the face of the agency so we must be able to build healthy relationships with clients, clients partners and internal teams as you will be a crucial member (if not account lead) on your designated accounts.
  • You must be an organised individual with good coordination skills and with strong attention to detail as you will be in charge of output for your accounts. This includes coordinating and ensuring all work meets a high standard before comms are sent to the client/client partners. Examples include but not limited to; responses to briefs, reporting & daily requests.
  • Be an enthusiastic team player, who is friendly and approachable and to be on hand to communicate with internal and external teams across multiple channels such as face-to-face, video/phone, Slack or email.
  • Be able to provide clear instructions to others and meet deadlines for all account projects but not to be afraid to push back and provide clear reasoning as to why.
  • Strong presentation skills, verbal and written comms. Have an ability to problem solve on your own.
  • Have an ability to demonstrate planning framework and storytelling. Excellent admin skills.
  • Depending on team structure, ability to develop junior members of the team.
