As a Senior Account Director, you will play a crucial role in leading and developing our public relations team while implementing effective strategic communication plans for a diverse base of bluechip clients across B2B and B2C enviroments within a wide range of different sectors including; retail, travel, beauty and many more


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of dedicated professionals to create and implement innovative public relations strategies, ensuring client objectives are met and exceeded.
  • Develop comprehensive strategic communication plans that align with clients' objectives and the agency's overall vision.
  • Oversee the creation of impactful and persuasive press releases, copywriting, and content development in collaboration with our creative and marketing teams.
  • Drive successful media relations strategies, fostering relationships with key journalists and industry influencers to secure high-quality media coverage.
  • Monitor and analyse media coverage and trends, providing timely feedback to clients and making suitable adjustments to campaigns as needed.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and conducting regular progress meetings to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align messaging and PR efforts with larger marketing and communications strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and competitors to identify new opportunities and optimize PR tactics.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and internal resources effectively to meet clients' needs within designated timeframes.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 8+ years proven experience working within client services
  • 8+ years PR and Communications experiene
  • At least 3+ years as an Account Director
  • Agency experience is beneficial
  • Demonstrable success in creating and executing effective strategic communication plans.
  • Strong background in press releasing, copywriting, and content development for various channels and platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, media professionals, and internal teams.
  • Experience managing budgets and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, measure results, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of industry-specific tools and technologies for media monitoring and analysis.
  • A passionate, creative, and forward-thinking mindset with a desire to stay ahead of industry
