Leydi is our Modern Turkish restaurant bringing the all-day food culture of Istanbul to London from breakfast until late with expertly-prepared mangal meat & fish, heritage grain wood-fired breads, low intervention wines and a sophisticated and fun ambience.

Black Lacquer is our contemporary underground cocktail bar where eclectic music is celebrated and the same singular approach is taken to the sound as to the drinks. Whatever the time or day, Black Lacquer always delivers top-notch hospitality.

Job Description

Were on the lookout for a Head Bartender to shake things up as part of our team. You'll be a key player in crafting our awesome beverage lineup and making our place a total hit. Your leadership, creativity behind the bar, and drive to excellence are what make our guests keep coming back for more.

What youll do

  • Provide clear guidance and direction to the bar team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Lead by example in crafting innovative and high-quality cocktails that align with our brand and what our customers love.
  • Train bartenders on our unique recipes, mixing techniques, and presentation standards to ensure consistency in drink preparation and presentation.
  • Team up with management to develop and update the cocktail menu, ensuring it reflects our brand identity and current beverage trends.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to make sure our drinks and food are a match made in heaven.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the bar area and equipment to ensure everything's running smoothly.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, register reconciliation, keeping our records spot on.
Qualifications

  • Previous experience as Head Bartender with strong spirits knowledge.
  • A natural people person youre confident behind the bar and brilliant with guests.
