Job Title: Head Bartender

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Bartender to join our team at The May Fair Hotel. As a Head Bartender, you will be responsible for leading our bar team and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and enjoy a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the bar team to ensure excellent service and high-quality drinks
  • Develop and implement new drink menus and promotions to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the bar area
  • Ensure that all drinks are prepared to the highest standard and presented in a visually appealing way
  • Manage inventory and ordering of supplies to minimize waste and optimize profitability
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to create innovative cocktails and drinks that complement our menu
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all guests feel welcome and valued
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Head Bartender or in a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of spirits, beers, and wines, as well as mixology techniques and trends
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
