Oaklands Global are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ATC Manager to join our client’s dynamic team. This pivotal role demands exceptional management and administrative expertise to ensure the seamless and efficient operation of our Air Traffic Services team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Oversee daily operations of the Air Traffic Team, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective air traffic services for all users. Provide strong leadership across the unit, managing team and individual performance.
- Coordination and Collaboration: Liaise with air traffic control personnel, senior management, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Standardization and Procedures: Develop and implement procedures to maintain high professional standards across all aspects of the function.
- Operational Duties: As a fully qualified and licensed Air Traffic Control Officer (ATCO), the MATS will maintain at least one Unit Endorsement, in addition to fulfilling ATCO responsibilities.
Key Requirements:
- Proven track record in successfully managing Air Traffic Services
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of airport operations and commercial awareness
- In-depth understanding of air traffic control procedures, regulations, and safety protocols
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for making informed decisions under pressure
- Fully SMS qualified
- Holder of a UK ATCO Licence
- Minimum of 5 years operational experience, with at least 3 years served at a UK airport
